Paul Wilbury’s latest work ‘Bloom’ comes as the start of a new chapter for Wilbury’s beat-making career. Influenced by the electronic sounds of his new city, Amsterdam, Wilbury started exploring new techniques for sampling and sound design, driving him towards a sound reminiscent of labels like Leaving Records or Brainfeeder.

Bloom is the start of this new electronic inspired chapter after his successful years as a more tradicional hip-hop producer. Bloom sets the blueprint for what Wilbury’s future productions will be based on and how he will approach music creation in the future, welcome to the new Paul Wilbury.
